Please join us for a staged reading performance of Wajahat Ali’s play “The Domestic Crusaders” on Feb. 8 at the MSU Kellogg Center Auditorium. The playwright Wajahat Ali will be at the performance and will help lead discussion afterwards. This original Muslim American play addresses tensions in a Muslim Pakistani-American family against the background of 9/11.
The staged reading director, Lynn Lammers, will also take the performance on the road, to Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids and to The Arab American National Museum in Dearborn.

This event is part of Migrations of Islam and has been organized by the MSU Muslim Studies Program with the support of the Social Science Research Council. It is co-sponsored by the MSU Asian Studies Center and the College of Arts and Letters with the collaboration of The Arab American National Museum in Dearborn and Grand Valley State University.
