These essays offer brief accessible summaries on the complexity and diversity of the Muslim World, with particular emphasis on the news reporting about Islam and Muslims in the US. The core units address specific examples from the press, political statements, and other public pronouncements about Islam and Muslims. Each unit consists of a short essay (500-800 words) with links to relevant teaching materials and to other online resources.
